The 2024 LVMH Prize Young Fashion Designer Award is open for registration from now until January 7, 2024. Different from previous years, in addition to the existing two awards, the LVMH Prize and the Karl Lagerfeld Award , the group has added a new award this year , the Savoir-Faire Prize (Craftsmanship Award) , to recognize those who can serve creativity or promote sustainable development. Excellent craftsmanship and innovative technology to promote the spread of skills.
The LVMH Group has launched the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers since 2013, which is open to fashion designers from all over the world, aged 18 to 40, who have created at least two women's, men's or unisex ready-to-wear series.
Delphine Arnault, CEO of Christian Dior, a subsidiary of LVMH, said in a press release, "LVMH Young Designers is about to launch its 11th edition, and we are delighted to recognize the group's dedication to the core values of creation and craftsmanship. The LVMH Savoir-Faire Award aims to recognize excellence. Innovation in craftsmanship, design and production, and a more sustainable approach to fashion.”
The winner of the Savoir-Faire Prize will receive a prize of 200,000 euros and a year of mentorship from the LVMH team, the same reward as the Karl Lagerfeld Prize.
The current three major awards of the LVMH Prize are:
‧ LVMH Grand Prize: The winner will receive a prize of 400,000 euros and enjoy tailor-made guidance services from the LVMH team, including in sustainable development, communication, copyright and corporate legal aspects, as well as marketing, production and brand financial management Provide support to the winners in various fields.
‧ Karl Lagerfeld Prize: The winner will receive a prize of 200,000 euros and a one-year mentorship from the LVMH team.
‧ Savoir-Faire Craftsmanship Award: The winner will receive a bonus of 200,000 euros and a one-year mentorship by the LVMH team.
Applications for the 11th LVMH Prize will open on November 8, 2023 and close on January 7, 2024. Please register online: lvhprize.com. The semi-finals will be held on February 29 and March 1, 2024.
In addition, each year the award also collaborates with fashion schools to recognize young fashion school students who graduate that year. Applications for the LVMH Graduate Prize are open from now until March 17, 2024. The three winners will each receive a prize of 10,000 euros and can join the creative teams of the group's brands for one year.
